There is a considerable population of Eastern Grey kangaroos at Warreen in addition to many echidnas, hairy-nosed wombats, and Bennett’s wallabies. Sometimes people even see emus and brumbies on occasion. The Kosciuszko National Park is very nearby so you will definitely get the chance for all kinds of “wild” life excitement. The park staff is also very happy to be of service to you.
Staying at the Warren Chalet was a beautiful experience. The chalet is warm, cosy, inviting and provided us with everything we needed. There were 8 of us staying there, and we were pleasantly surprised with size of the house, it's surroundings and just how close it was to the Thredbo slopes. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the tennis table kept us entertained as we wownded down from a day of skiing. Our host Jane was also a pleasure to deal with and was more than happy to answer all our questions as we were planning our stay. You won't be disappointed. Will definitely be back! Charlie

Excellent Place To Spend With Friends
My friends and I had a great weekend at Warreen Chalet. Jane has provided us in advance with very helpful instructions on how to find the place and details about the house which allowed us to get there smoothly and we felt like home straight away. The house is very-well equipped and we had a lot of fun with the "entertainment system" (table tennis, dart and billard pool). Excellent place to spend some good times with friends.

Brilliant Stay
Jane - brilliant stay for our group. A number of comments were made about how brilliant the set up in the chalet is, and how well appointed it is. Couldn't have had a better time. I'd love to rebook soon if you'll have us!
